The Pennock family lived at the home at the time of Dr. David Pennock's death. He was a renowned osteopath and native of Lansdowne, Pennsylvania. He was the first ever recipient of the O.J. Snyder Memorial Medal from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1953 on its Founders' Day.
